In 2002, Carvin introduced the CC275 signature guitar, in conjunction with
long-time Carvin endorser Craig Chaquico. Craig had been playing Carvins
since his days with Jefferson Starship in the late 1970s/early 1980s, and wanted
a lightweight acoustic/electric model for his solo work. So, Craig worked with
Carvin, the CC275 and CC275-12 were born. These instruments feature a
mahogany body and neck, flamed maple top, body binding, gold hardware, and
mother-of-pearl eagle inlays which are exclusive to this model.
