Carvin offers an assortment of bridges: fixed, tune-o-matic/stoptail, Wilkinson tremolo, Floyd Rose tremolo and Bigsby vibrato. Some bridge options are available with piezo acoustic pickups.
Ebony fingerboards are standard, and you may also choose maple, birdseye maple, flamed maple or rosewood. Dot, block, diamond & signature inlay designs are available in abalone or mother-of-pearl.

Neck-through basses are equipped with Hipshot™ A-style bridges, and bolt-neck basses feature Carvin's heavy-duty locking-saddle bass bridge. Many models can by upgraded with a piezo bridge for acoustic bass tone.

Carvin's bolt-neck basses & guitars feature an innovative sculpted neck heel, allowing easy access high on the fingerboard. Neck-through instruments have a smooth neck heel, and set-neck guitars have a minimal heel for superior playability.

Ebony fretless fingerboards, with or without lines, are available. Fretted ebony, rosewood, maple, birdseye maple or flamed maple fingerboards are also offered, with the same inlay, fretwire and radius options as on Carvin's guitars.
Bass headstocks are available in 4, 5 & 6 string configurations, in traditional side-by-side, inline, reversed and other shapes. The tilt-back design and standard graphite nut increases punch and sustain.
