Carvin is pleased to welcome Grammy-nominated guitarist and Carvin endorser Craig Chaquico to our San Diego, Sacramento and Santa Ana locations for a series of free guitar clinics. Craig has been playing Carvin guitars since his days in Jefferson Starship in the early 1980's, and now has his own signature line, the CC275 acoustic/electric. Craig’s debut solo CD, Acoustic Highway, was honored in 1993 as Billboard’s #1 New Age Indie and Adult Contemporary album of the year. Acoustic Planet, his follow-up 1994 release, received a Grammy nomination for Best New Age album and reached #1 on the Billboard charts the first week it was released. Craig was voted #1 Best Pop Instrumental Guitarist by Guitar Player Magazine's most recent Readers' Poll and later named to Jazziz Magazine's exclusive list of Top 100 Jazz Guitarists in History. Craig has over 20 gold records to his credit, many of which were recorded using Carvin gear.
