So, the honeymoon is over (until tomorrow) and i'm very pleased. I can already tell that this is a fast-playing bass. I ordered the 10" radius and put on my favorite strings (Thomastik-Infeld Jazz flats) and i couldn't be happier with the results. I'm waiting to see if this Illinois weather does anything to the neck (we got our first snow of the season tonight) and aside from the usual fine-tuning, this is one great-sounding and great-playing bass (she isn't too hard on the eyes, either).

Thanks for #9, Carvin Rock On Mr. Green

I like the smiley face on the bottom edge.

You aren't kidding with that statement. I've had basses where it seemed that I almost was making monthly adjustments Crying or Very sad

Never was a problem with my Carvins or Fenders though.

Right on. That bass just rocks. I love natural wood finishes. You got the new J99A pickups, right? How's it sounding with the flats? I'm slowly being converted to a TI flats user myself.

Anyway, enjoy and congratulations!!! Cool
