i was wondering if you would think there is a difference between the br510 the combo amp or the sbx 210 which is the amp and cab are separate .thanks i appreciate the info

You should get better low end from the sbx210 and you can carry the components separately rather than having to have the combo and you can more easily add on or upgrade cabs.

If you want more volume, I'd go with a different head. The BX500 is gonna put out 500 watts at 4 and 2 ohms, so you're not going to see any wattage increase by adding a BRX2x10 to a BRX4x10 since they're both 4 ohms. If you want a lot of power, I'd go with the B1500 and the BRX410. You can always add another 4x10 or 2x10 to get extra power and extra speaker surface area.

If you're heart is set on the BX500 and you want lots of low end, get the BRX410. Remember, this amp isn't bi-ampable so getting a 1x18 could muddy things up since both the 4x10 and the 1x18 will be reproducing the exact same signal, there's no split...
