I have several guitars with the Roland GK-3 pickups mounted on 'em, and I thought the SH575 with built-in synth pickups would be better and easier to use, however, when comparing the two different devices, it seems the tracking on the SH575 is way over-sensitive and I end up accidentally playing notes on the low strings when trying to keep it in the solo range on the higher strings. Anybody got any tips on how to eliminate the problem or at least reduce it? I mean, other than setting the sensitivity for the low strings to not pick up when I just bump 'em by accident.

It's simple really. The GK3 doesn't have as much signal as a piezo sensor. I back the sensitivity down to 2-4 tops. & all is good. The ghost notes went away. It tracks like a champ. Yours is a good problem to have. Getting more signal from a GK3 is impossible. With the GK3, I was always re booting the GR30/33 throughout the day. The RMC system in my Godin is rock solid. I'm sure Carvin's system is too.
